What a sad collection of financial resources. Think they are such hot $hit, these cards. In truth, most of them are pretty worthless and contribute nothing to the people who possess them, or to society for that matter. For every one or two credit cards that bring any value to the table, there are a half dozen that do nothing more than take up space. Like a ditzy blonde that gets plastered and hooks up with everyone in sight, that Discover card is entertaining to be sure. But other than that it just sits in your wallet ruining your credit score. The fact remains the same. Credit cards are pretty much interchangeable and mostly expendable.

Why you only need like two credit cards

Because they are all the same, and all carry the same risks and negative side-effects. All of them have gigantic interest rates that will put a hurt on you if you accrue any debt whatsoever. That is what credit cards are designed to do, after all. Make money for the peeps that make it possible for you to buy everything up front and pay for it later. It's not free stuff, it's stuff you are going to have to pay back later, and probably for more than if you just bought it up front with cash.
